The Straight Hay Feeder 2300 combines a hay rack and feed trough in one long bunk, so animals eat hay and concentrate side by side without walking between two feeders. The 3.2m long, 1.5m wide body is made from folded galvanized sheet with a spaced bar rack above that lets animals pull hay through naturally while keeping them from trampling and soiling it. A 1.1m working height suits mature cattle and keeps feed off the ground. Hot-dip galvanized inside and out, it handles wet feed and silage without rusting. At about 134 kg it ships flat-packed: around 54 sets fit a 20ft container and 108 sets a 40ft, which makes it a strong seller for farm supply stores.
