The Half Hay Rack is a compact 0.6 m feeder for small pens and valuable stock: a mesh hay section above a small feed trough, holding hay and concentrate together in one unit that hangs on a hurdle or wall. At just 4.1 kg it moves anywhere in the shed and suits orphan lamb pens, adopter pens, ram quarters and vet pens where a full-length rack would dominate the pen. The mesh lets animals pull hay naturally with minimal waste, and the galvanized trough below catches leaves and fines for concentrate feeding. Hot-dip galvanized steel stands up to wet feed and daily disinfectant washing. Use several along a pen wall for group feeding, or one per pen for controlled rations.
